Exacto normalmente tento detectar por um "screening" os titulos que se encontram num ponto técnico interessante e aqueles com comportamento estranho (por exemplo ligeira subida + volume em dia de quedas etc ...)

Assim entrei num momento:
1/ que me pareceu tecnicamente interessante
2/ e em que o titulo estava com um comportamento estranho (insiders ??..)

efectivamente o comportamento estranho do titulo justificava-se => no dia seguinte houve o anuncio co contrato de 1000 milhoes de $ e depois os resultados superiores ao esperado

O problema da reacção após as notícias é esta. A acção abre com um "gap" deste tamanho, tornando difícil qualquer movimento...

First Solar Gets Module Supply Contract

First Solar Enters Into a Long-Term Module Supply Agreement, Shares Rise After-Hours


PHOENIX (AP) -- Solar-cell maker First Solar Inc. said Monday it signed a new long-term module supply agreement with a unit of Babcock & Brown and Ecostream Switzerland GmbH which will generate sales of about $1 billion.
Financial terms were undisclosed.

Babcock & Brown, an international investment manager, and Ecostream Switzerland, a unit of Econcern BV, expanded their contracted module volume. To meet the demand, First Solar will build a fourth plant in Malaysia.

The new plant is scheduled to begin production in the second half of 2009.

Shares rose $1.54 to close at $148.10, and then climbed $8.20, or nearly 6 percent in aftermarket trading.

NEW YORK, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Solar panel maker First Solar Inc (FSLR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it signed deals to sell panels to Babcock & Brown (BNB.AX: Quote, Profile, Research) and Ecostream Switzerland, which it projects will generate around $1 billion in sales.

First Solar said the deals, structured like its existing long term deals, expand its contracted volumes for the panels by a total of 557 megawatts.

The company said that to meet the additional demand, the company will build a fourth manufacturing plant in Malaysia, with four production lines.

The new plant is scheduled to start production in the second half of 2009 and will be built adjacent to the three previously announced plants currently under construction, the company said. (Reporting by Michael Erman)
