Quanto a idade, nasci antes dessa data, e mesmo assim considero-me um jovem...

Agora, e embora eu saiba, que a bolsa têm mais anos que sei la o que, não consigo encontrar dados com mais de 10 anos de idade, logo, todos os dados com mais idade do que isso, são dados que eu considero antigos(como não aparecem, já devem ter morrido as tantas...)

De qualquer forma se alguém tiver as fotos dessas "relíquias" arranjem-me sff

"Stealing From a Summer Rally"

"You have to think about 1985. I keep saying this because we went up over and over and over again, yet everyone hated the market. The rally continued into 1986 and didn't go crazy until the Japanese came in and took the whole market to heights that were at last unsustainable.

I know very few people believe in this market. They are waiting for a pullback. But I think any pullback will be muted.

We are stealing from a potential summer rally, which could be hamstrung by the fact that so many managers have made so much money that we could have the "lock-in," something I talked about endlessly in the 1990s on this site because people were coining money.

I know about the lock-in because as a young hedge fund manager -- yes, I was young once -- when I hit the marks I wanted to, it was off to the Hamptons first and then to Martha's Vineyard.

Of course, this year it might not be all that powerful of a lock-in because the private-equity guys are unlikely to take a summer vacation. They have to put all that money to work.

Why 1985? Why is that the focus? Because we had week after week where Merck (MRK - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) and Coke (KO - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) and Pfizer (PFE - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) and Pepsi (PEP - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) would go up to the point where they became multiple billion-dollar companies. Those that didn't go up got bought by the successful ones, and there was a colossal consolidation of companies. That was also a time when technology did nothing, yet the market roared. Sound like today?
