Trade Idea (Equities): PartyGaming (long from 28.50) is breaking short-term resistance at 32p, our initial target thus reached. Definately worth it to hold on to the shares as the daily chart is clearing up and giving scope for much higher levels. Stop moved to 29.00. We're targeting 35p next. O "upside" pode ser interessante por uma razão: A Party foi das poucas casas a fechar as portas aos americanos depois da aprovação da nova lei anti-jogo nos States. As suas maiores rivais mantiveram o acesso a americanos livre. Ou seja, as más notícias já estão na cotação. É certo que a diminuição do número de jogadores (reduziu em cerca de 70%!) faz com que seja menos atractivo para os não americanos se manterem por lá mas, grosso modo, os piores estragos já foram causados.

Nem quero imaginar o impacto, por exemplo, da reabertura a norte-americanos. É pouco crível mas...

Trade Idea (Equities): plenty of buzz surrounding PartyGaming (PRTY:xlon). Several of the bigger investment houses are raising their recommendation on the stock (y'day UBS upped to Neutral from Reduce) and today PRTY is saying that sales are "stabilizing quickly" after the company stopped taking wagers from US customers on 13-Oct. Stock is trading around 29p right now and we believe further positive news flow not least with regards to US legislation and consolidation within the industry could easily push this name toward the 40p area. Using modest leverage, we've just bought at 28.50 with a stop at 25.50 (below the recent range). Target left open but there's room to 32p initially.
