Ressearch feito por um banco finalndês, o mandatum:
Nokia’s handset portfolio losing competitiveness – 2007 and 2008 market share estimates cut notably – Downgrade to Reduce
• We downgrade Nokia’s share to Reduce (Buy). We believe Nokia’s handset portfolio is losing competitiveness, and have notably cut Nokia’s global 2007 and 2008 market share estimates. Our main concerns are Nokia’s late introduction of thin handset models and Motorola’s determined inroad to ultra-low cost handsets. Moreover, Nokia
Networks’ merger with Siemens Com is not likely to notably contribute to Nokia’s EPS before 2009, due to frontloaded restructuring costs. Finally, consensus estimates for H2-2006 and 2007 appear too optimistic.
• Nokia’s late reaction to demand for thin handset models enables Motorola to win market share. Even if Nokia plans to launch appr. 25 new handset models in H2-2006 (20 in H2-2005), they are not likely to include any new thin models, where Nokia is already behind competition. Motorola is likely to win market share in Q3 and in the important Christmas season. Nokia’s slow introduction may be due to the recent design function reorganisation.
• Motorola’s inroad into emerging markets puts further pressure on Nokia’s market share. Recently, Motorola has introduced several new ULC models, and is likely to grow its ULC market share from 7% (2005) to a level as high as 22% (2007e). Because of almost nonexistent competition, Nokia traditionally enjoys gross margin as high as 40% in the ULC segment. New competition is likely to cut Nokia’s ULC gross margin and lead into Nokia Mobile Phones’
EBIT margin decline from 16.9% (2006e, adjusted) to 16.5% (2007e).
• We see Nokia’s global market share falling from 34.0% to 32.3%, 2006e vs. 2008e. Based on the aforementioned factors, we have cut Nokia’s market share estimates for 2007 and 2008 by 0.8 p.p. and 1.7 p.p., respectively.
• Networks’ merger with Siemens Com will not notably contribute to Nokia’s EPS before 2009. This is because of front-loaded restructuring costs. In addition, we believe Ericsson is likely to benefit during the integration period of
both Nokia+Siemens and Alcatel+Lucent.
• Nokia consensus estimates and share valuation on the high side. We see the market expectation of Nokia retaining a 35% market share in 2007-2008 too optimistic. The 2007-2008 P/E figures are 2-8% above peer group median.

Em relação à Nokia está numa situação muito frágil. Caso o suporte dos 18.20 não a segurem então fica totalmente bear. Mas veremos... Os 18.20 da última vez serviram de mola, aguardemos.
