O que irrita é que existe uma revisão de 6k face ao número da semana passada (sem ela o número tinha apresentado um crescimento do desemprego e não uma redução) e os tipos da CNBC não referem nada, apenas dizem que o desemprego desceu mais uma vez. Apesar disso a continuous claims foram boas.

futuros nos states mantiveram-se +/- onde estavam,
e bolsas pela europa recuperam um pouco mais(ex. do dax que recupera de -1.20% para -0.85%)...

U.S. initial jobless claims hold steady
WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) - The number of Americans seeking state unemployment benefits held steady just below the key psychological 400,000 level last week, the Labor Department said Thursday.
The average number of seasonally adjusted initial jobless claims over the past four weeks was unchanged at 392,250, the department said.
The four-week average had declined by 19,000 in the previous four weeks.
In the week ending Oct. 18, new claims dropped by 4,000 to 386,000.
Meanwhile, the number of Americans collecting state benefits fell to a six-month low of 3.54 million in the week ending Oct. 11.
The insured unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percentage point to 2.8 percent, a six-week low.
