European Oil Stocks Decline
Aug.11 (Bloomberg) -- European oil stocks including Shell Transport & Trading Co. and Total SA declined.
The Dow Jones Stoxx 50 Index slipped 0.4 percent to 2566.94 as of 8:15 a.m. in London. The Stoxx 600 shed 0.2 percent. The Euro Stoxx 50, a benchmark for the 12 countries sharing the euro, fell 0.4 percent.
Shell, which has a 40 percent stake in Royal Dutch/Shell Group, Europe's second-largest oil company, declined 2.3 percent to 392.25 pence.
Total, the region's No. 3 oil company, fell 0.6 percent to 158.10 euros.
