Network World Wins min's Integrated Marketing Award for Lucent
Customer Access Management Program
Business Editors SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2004 Network World, the leading Network IT media company, has won the Media Industry Newsletter's (min's) Integrated Marketing Award for a Customized Web Site/Microsite on behalf of Lucent Technologies (NYSE:LU). Network World developed a customized Customer Access Program that resulted in the development of a comprehensive microsite. From activity on the microsite, Lucent has obtained qualified leads resulting in a 25+% conversion rate.
"The Network World Customer Access Program and microsite allowed us to look at what worked and what didn't," explained Maria Florio, director of enterprise marketing for Lucent Technologies Network Operations Software. "The results were leads of exceptional quality. These results broke all records - it was almost like direct marketing and had all the benefits at a fraction of the cost."
The winning microsite is hosted on Network World's nwfusionpartners.com ( http://www.nwfusionpartners.com /) and provides a complete overview of specific Lucent software resources including product information, downloads of evaluation software, online software demonstrations, independent special reports and analysis, IDC whitepapers and online ROI calculators, as well as links to Lucent services, training, and events.
This first-ever min's Integrated Marketing Award recognizes the innovative campaigns, ongoing creative programs, and exceptional individuals, which are establishing strong magazine-agency-brand relationships and cross-media marketing. Judges considered design, sponsorship and advertising placement, depth of site, qualified traffic to a section and effectiveness of marketing efforts among the criteria for the award.
Evilee Thibeault, CEO and Publisher of Network World, said, "We are honored to receive this award from min's. It underscores our commitment to deliver the industry's most innovative programs bringing vendors and Network IT executives together while providing outstanding value to both."
