Machine learning algorithms outcomes are more understandable and transparent by XAI techniques, e.g., LIME (local interpretable model-agnostic explanations) (Mathews, 2019), RETAIN (reversed time attention) (Choi et al., 2016), and LRP (layer-wise relevance propagation) (Binder et al., 2016). LIME is a post hoc model in prediction accuracy techniques, which operates as a technique providing explanations and transparency after the decision-making process. A notable advantage of LIME is its model-agnostic nature, enabling its application across various model types. The methodology of LIME entails perturbing or subtly modifying the model's inputs to examine the resulting changes in outputs. This facilitates the identification of inputs that exert the most influence on the outputs, thereby offering valuable insights into the model's decision- making process (Mathews, 2019). RETAIN is an XAI technique focused on healthcare applications to provide transparency, e.g., in heart failure diagnosis (Moreno-Sanchez, 2020).

society is that we finally made it possible so that all of our children don't have to learn C++"
The computer should do what you intended it to do.
Thanks to artificial intelligence and the groundbreaking work of our industry, we have closed the technology divide dramatically. Now, everyone is a programmer, and the programming language of the future is called "human."

MarcoAntonio Escreveu:Boa partilha, perneta.

eXplainable AI (XAI) methods for improving trust in AI models has arisen. XAI has become a popular research subject within the AI field in recent years.
The primary goal of XAI is to obtain human-interpretable models, especially for applications in sensitive sectors such as military, banking, and healthcare applications, since domain specialists need help solving problems more effectively, but they also want to be provided with meaningful output to understand and trust those solutions.
Edge AI is the deployment of artificial intelligence technologies to process data on hardware devices located at the edge of a network, rather than transmitting the data to centralized cloud-based servers for analysis.
The advances in edge computing thus provides opportunities for pushing AI frontiers from the cloud center to network edges, stimulating a new research area known as edge AI, including both AI model training and inference procedures.
Edge AI, an innovation that facilitates data processing in close proximity to its source via edge computing, thereby circumventing reliance on centralized locations such as cloud service providers' data centers. (Singh, 2023)
as compared to the cloud, its features are closeness (latency and topology), increased network capacity (effectively achievable data transmission rate), lower computational power, smaller scale, and higher heterogeneity of devices. Com- pared to the end devices (the final hop), it features increased com- putational and storage resources. It is an abstract entity to offload computation and storage without the detour to the cloud.
Edge AI refers to the practice of doing AI computations near the users at the network's edge instead of centralised location like a cloud service provider's data centre or a company's own private data warehouse [
f Edge Computing is to put resources within close proximity to the users and sources of data and information to help overcome cloud computing's recognized weaknesses of high latency, jitter and narrow bandwidth
There are several ways in which cloud computing can support an edge AI deployment:
- The cloud can run the model during its training period.
- The cloud continues to run the model as it is retrained with data that comes from the edge.
- The cloud can run AI inference engines that supplement the models in the field when high compute power is more important than response time. For example, a voice assistant might respond to its name, but send complex requests back to the cloud for parsing.
- The cloud serves up the latest versions of the AI model and application.
- The same edge AI often runs across a fleet of devices in the field with software in the cloud
Edge artificial intelligence refers to the deployment of AI algorithms and AI models directly on local edge devices such as sensors or Internet of Things (IoT) devices, which enables real-time data processing and analysis without constant reliance on cloud infrastructure.
Simply stated, edge AI, or "AI on the edge“, refers to the combination of edge computing and artificial intelligence to execute machine learning tasks directly on interconnected edge devices.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viterbi_algorithm
It is now also commonly used in speech recognition, speech synthesis, diarization,[1] keyword spotting, computational linguistics, and bioinformatics. For example, in speech-to-text (speech recognition), the acoustic signal is treated as the observed sequence of events, and a string of text is considered to be the "hidden cause" of the acoustic signal. The Viterbi algorithm finds the most likely string of text given the acoustic signal.
