Chip designer Rambus (RMBS - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr - Rating) rose 7.4% after it said that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has ended an informal probe into the company's historical stock options grant practices without recommending any enforcement action against the company. Rambus gained $1.46 to $21.30.
