Ele referia-se ao que a Goldman estava a olhar para o futuro, como sendo os próximos hot spots de investimento para os próximos anos. Os brics foram as ideias anteriores, a goldman aponta 11 potenciais targets para serem as novas "bombas de crescimento".

A Map of the nations in the list.The Next Eleven (or N-11) is a short list of countries named by Goldman Sachs investment bank on December 12, 2005 as having promising outlooks for investment and future growth.
Goldman Sachs used macroeconomic stability, political maturity, openness of trade and investment policies and quality of education as criteria. The N-11 paper is a follow-up to its 2003 paper on the emerging "BRIC" economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China).
