Data Comment: The US CPI figures were not following the Canadian ones lower and did not pay attention to the slightly lower than expected PPI figures yday. Inflation remains a problem, as feared by the Fed. The housing figures were slightly disappointing and revisions for the May data were not helpfull. This also coincides with the NAHB Housing Market Index level at 24 yesterday... bad for stocks.
