"The tech bulls won't listen to reason.

They see positives in the AMD (AMD - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) call. They believe there's a reason for AMD's being. They aren't concerned about the balance sheet or the competition. They see a lessening of the price war; they don't see the deterioration of the company.

They ignore the problem at Sanmina (SANM - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating); they think that a shortfall at a contract manufacturer doesn't mean much. That's ridiculous; it still does billions in sales.

Seagate (STX - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) blows up, and the bulls will ignore it. They shouldn't; it's a big company, and it touches many computer makers.

Now Microsoft (MSFT - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) gets taken off Goldman's conviction buy list, and Yahoo! (YHOO - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) got a downgrade; they won't be heeded, either.

It's nonsense. This group should be avoided still. You can't bottom-fish here. Makes no sense.

With so many areas working, tech needs to be avoided. Almost all of it. Sure, Research In Motion (RIMM - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) could be good, although it has run. DivX (DIVX - commentary - Cramer's Take) was great last night on my show, but it could do a secondary. I see Akamai (AKAM - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) sneaking back up.

But I don't trust a thing in this sector.

Only the analysts and their acolyte buyers do. "
