A European court has prohibited Google from using its brand name Gmail for its e-mail services. The complainant is German company G-mail. That is why Google must call its service Googlemail in Germany (and in the UK too).
Google reported a quarterly profit of € 768 million, doubling its profit compared with the same period a year earlier. Google does not offer any forecast for the coming quarters.
