SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The American Petroleum Institute said crude supplies rose 6.7 million barrels for the week ended Nov. 10. The Energy Department had reported a rise of 1.3 million. Motor gasoline supplies were down 1.4 million barrels, the API said, vs. the 3.7 million-barrel fall reported by the government. Distillate stocks declined by 2.3 million barrels, the API said. The Energy Department had reported a fall of 3.6 million barrels.
