"Buffett Marks Target Value Over Wal-Mart"

"How telling is it that Warren Buffett, the known value player, isn't buying Wal-Mart (WMT - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) but is buying Target (TGT - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating)?

Target's not cheap. It has often been criticized as making its money on its credit-card operation. It has often been criticized as hit-and-miss.

Wal-Mart, on the other hand, has become the quintessential value play that everyone recognizes, if it gets it right, could be a huge stock.

I look at this endorsement by Buffett of the so-called expensive retail stock and I am encouraged to think that at least one person -- not the analysts -- believes the move isn't over.

Target deserves a huge premium to the group because it has pulled off the impossible, becoming the second-biggest retail company virtually overnight.

The endorsement from Berkshire (BRK.A - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) is huge. In case of any pullback, you have the Berkshire factor right underneath. You could do worse than that floor. "

Já tenho a Target há alguns dias debaixo de olho. Parece-me que quebrando os 60USD pode ser uma aposta interessante.
