"Now I am really fretting about a weak dollar. I am fretting because our companies just became 11% cheaper than they were! That means so many more takeovers are coming. Now I am petrified.

Have you noticed, with the declining bond yields and the market's great performance this week, we have reached a point, in five days, where the weak dollar has gone from a panic worry to a blessing? Earnings estimates that move up off this currency decline always seem to help.

And the best is yet to come. When we have had these dollar swoons, the Europeans have historically made their moves against U.S. companies. That could happen again.

I'm looking for buyers in the steel and drug industries, but if I were in the industrial businesses and my stocks haven't done much -- think Ingersoll-Rand (IR - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating), Joy Global (JOYG - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) or Foster Wheeler (FWLT - commentary - Cramer's Take - Rating) -- I would have to be worried about take-outs.

Plus, there are plenty of oil and gas firms that have to be concerned, too, particularly those with gas weightings that are still hated.

I am always impressed when the bears are able to color a positive -- a weaker dollar creates so many opportunities -- as a negative. It allows them to bring in shorts at below what should be market forces.

But the sale is over. You truly had to get them when they were cool. "
