Wet Seal July Comparable Store Sales Up 7.4% -
Wet Seal Inc. (WTSLA: News ) Thursday reported a 7.4 percent increase in comparable store sales for the month of July compared to a 4.3 percent decline last year. Comparable store sales or comps is a financial metric used by most retailers to measure a sales performance of stores open for at least one year.
Net sales for the month was $46.4 million.
Further, the company said it expects earnings per share for the fiscal second quarter to be $0.02, which is the high end of its initial guidance range of $0.01 to $0.02.
