https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-embar ... 882.0.html"The latest 15.6-inch HP ProBook this year is the ProBook 450 G7 and ProBook 455 G7 powered by Intel 10th gen Comet Lake-U and AMD 3rd gen Zen 2 processors, respectively. The two models are otherwise visually identical leaving it up to buyers to decide if they want an Intel laptop or AMD laptop.
Historically, the AMD model would run slower than Intel and cost less in the process,
but the latest Ryzen processors have now enabled the AMD model to be both faster and cheaper. We recently had a chance to review the ProBook 450 G7 and ProBook 455 G7 configured with the Core i7-10510U and Ryzen 7 4700U, respectively, but the performance data as shown below skews heavily in favor of the latter especially in terms of multi-thread performance. CineBench results for
the Ryzen 7 4700U are 118 to 147 percent faster than the Core i7-10510U even after adjusting for performance throttling despite both processors having the same number of simultaneous threads. We made sure to run both laptops on High Performance mode as well to get the fastest results possible from each.
