Check Point Rises On Q2 Beat
Finisar: Jefferies Starts At Buy, $23 Target

Shares of Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP) are up $1.41, or 2.5%, at $57.99 in early trading after the company this morning reported Q2 revenue and earnings per share ahead of estimates.

Revenue rose 15%, year over year, to $300.6 million in the three months ended in June, yielding EPS of 68 cents. Analysts had been modeling $296 million and 66 cents.

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (CHKP), the world’s second-largest network-security company, rose to the highest level in 10 years on bets clients will spend more to defend their computer systems from hackers.

A Checkpoint encontra-se numa situação muito interessante. Está em máximos de 10 anos e a tendência é claramente de alta.

Tem uma resistência nos 55,9 que travou os avanços compradores nos meses de Maio de Junho e desencadeou uma correcção até aos 51,68 mas o interesse comprador parece ter ressurgido nos últimos dias.

Acima dos 56 o título fica hiperbull.
