EMU DATA: Industrial PPI up more strongly than in at.
EMU DATA: Industrial PPI up more strongly than expected in Nov at +0.8%
m/m -- biggest gain since April 2006 -- after +0.7% in Oct, with the
annual rate climbing to 4.1% -- highest since Apr 2007 -- from 3.3%.
--The latest results were above the MNI median forecasts (+0.7%, +4.0%).
--Overall PPI m/m gain paced by energy prices, which surged by 3.2% m/m
in Nov, with the annual rate climbing to 7.8% from 4.2%.
--Ex-energy PPI +0.1% m/m in Nov; annual rate steady at Oct's +3.2%.

EMU DATA: The EU Commission's economic sentiment index fell to 104.7 in
December after 104.8 in November, the Commission reported Monday. This
was above the median forecast of 104.0 in an MNI analyst survey.
Consumer confidence was down to -9 from -8 in November, and industry
confidence also fell, to +2 after +3.
