Your role will be to trade profitable. You will need to price and trade financial options, build and maintain positions in derivates and equities. In this role you will also need to improve models, risk-management and methods of trading. We also demand a constant search for knowledge and new theories. A good market maker is a trader who makes his market both accurately and quickly. To make a market in options requires the trader to apply various mathematical formulae and arithmetic calculations (like the theoretical value of the option, theta, vega) The skill lies in making these calculations quickly.These skills are assessed by way of an acknowledged numaerical testing method. You work in a competitive market. In order to make a trade you will make all kind of calculations and make your market before anybody else. This can mean you will have to make a series of arithmetic calculations in your head in less than 2 or 3 seconds. You need strong analytical skills, a drive to win and can
