"The Season of Selling"
By James J. Cramer

"Faltering consumer confidence coupled with an overwhelming desire by mutual funds to take gains after yesterday's run-up combined for a real nastola of a day.
The Dow dropped a percent and the Nazz has given up almost 2%, reversing exactly the rally we had yesterday.
Easy come, easy go.
We are still in the mutual fund selling season. We have at least 10 more days, so let's keep the powder dry
and hope for a big up first day of October so we can trim what we haven't trimmed and be even more liquid than we are. "
