WASHINGTON, July 30 (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush said on Wednesday there were "hopeful signs" that U.S. economic growth would pick up and create new jobs over time.
"We're beginning to see hopeful signs of faster growth in the economy, which over time will yield new jobs. But the unemployment rate is still too high," Bush said at a news conference.
