"Bulls on the Bandwagon"

"An interesting phenomenon that tends to occur in a highly speculative bull market is how traders will jump on recommendations by certain folks who have had a hot hand lately.
A great example is Jim Cramer's recent Action Alerts PLUS trades. Jim has nailed this rally, and his recent trades have been flying as soon as they are announced. Traders are piling in, and Jim's new buys are flying. Investor's Business Daily has also been moving the stocks it highlights. Traders gravitate toward things that will attract other traders, and the moves become almost self-fulfilling when enough folks focus on them.
The Nasdaq has led the market back up into positive territory, breadth is positive, and the new-high list is at 470. I started a long position in Osteotech (OSTE:Nasdaq), which has a nice volume increase and is moving toward its recent highs.
