Dear Valued Client:
DataLink is currently online.
On Saturday, November 3, 2012 we experienced an outage with our Reuters DataLink end-of-day datafeed. The outage was due to ongoing connectivity issues that the East Coast is experiencing in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The employees at the facility have been working around the clock to ensure continuous connectivity and we are currently operating on our back-up systems; today our backup system encountered a problem. The problem has now been corrected and Reuters DataLink is once again accessible.
Please know that we are monitoring our systems 24/7 and because of this are able to react as soon as an issue is detected. Unfortunately the repercussions of the hurricane continues, and until the area has stabilized and all utilities are back on line, there is a chance that our system can go down again. In the case of an outage, we will again reach out and inform you.
We thank you for your patience during this time.

Dear Valued Client:
Due to the ongoing effects of Hurricane Sandy, the facility that houses our Reuters DataLink end-of-day datafeed has lost power. The facility was not physically affected by the storm; however the ongoing power crisis that the East Coast is still encountering has affected this facility. Until the power issue has been resolved, accessing Reuters DataLink data via data-on-demand or the DownLoader will not be available.
Please know that providing you with timely quality data is our number one concern, and we are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and will alert you as soon as the issue has been resolved.
