Hoje foi mais um upgrade à Siemens
Siemens upped to overweight at Lehman (SI, DE:723610) by Emily Church
LONDON (CBS.MW) -- Broker Lehman Brothers raised its rating on German conglomerate Siemens (SI) (DE:723610) to overweight from underweight and said it raised its price target by 5 euro to 55 euro. "The downturn in the technology businesses and power generation market has largely overshadowed improvements elsewhere in the group," it said. Siemens shares were last down 7 euro cents, or 0.2 percent, at 43.40 euro in Frankfurt.

Who cares that Motorola is the worst, with a terrible management and a squandered resource? Who cares that Motorola hasn't done squat except cut estimates for the last three years? When the fish are biting, only chumps don't throw in the chump and get some.

"Motorola Rides the Upgrade Wave"

"They can't resist. The analysts can't resist.
Take Tim Luke from Lehman Brothers, who just upgraded Motorola. I am sure he saw the group flying and had to get in, he just had too.
And why not? There are more hedge funds shorting these stocks than there are shareholders! Every one of these cell-phone and cell-phone component stories is rocking. The only one that hadn't yet rocked was MOT.

So MOT goes up.
Pathetic. Heck, I'd probably be long it if were a hedgie because the nonfundamental logic is so, well, unassailable. "
