a TSO é uma refinadora/distribuidora que sofreu bastante (os analistas começam a olhar para ela)... as subidas recentes du crude associadas a baixa procura provocaram descidas nas margens.
O programa de relance US podera ajudar o sector.

A RIG é uma empresa de serviços. As produtoras de crude têm que ir cada vez mais longe, cada vez mais profundo para encontrar as reservas dos proximos anos. Isso favorece projectos cada vez mais complexos e caros ... Um sector que deve beneficiar serão as empresas de serviços petroliferos como a RIG.

S&P Equity Research upgrades Tesoro (NYSE: TSO) from Sell to Hold.

S&P analyst, T. Vital, says, "TSO is set to report Q4 results on January 31. According to our calculations, record high crude prices have cut into U.S. refining margins, particularly on the West Coast, and we estimate they will narrow by more than 30% in Q4 relative to Q3. We are reducing our Q4 operating EPS estimate by $0.34 to $0.04, our full year '08's by $1.20 to $3.07 and '09's by $1.02 to $2.35. A blend of our DCF and relative valuations leads us to cut our 12-month target price by $10 to $44 per share, at an expected enterprise value of 6.8X our '08 EBITDA estimate, a discount to peers."
