Uma observação altamente provocatória:

If there’s a larger question, it’s this: Why does the abandonment of investor skepticism so often coincide with periods of unusual growth and inventiveness in the economy? The answer may be that distinguishing a good business idea from a bad one is often impossible. Foretelling the future is hardly easy under the best of circumstances, and sometimes an investor may be sensible not even to try. Digging through piles of a company’s past records, after all, doesn’t tell you much about its future in a time when new industries are being invented. The alternative, throwing money indiscriminately at companies, may actually be a realistic option.
