"Stocks Don't Yet Reflect All of the Bad News"

"Don't minimize the news backdrop and don't believe that because we haven't gone down to 7200 on the Dow yet that we aren't going there. I have to tell you that there have been other times when the crises at American Airlines and Ford would be enough to spook this market.
In fact, any one of these international and domestic crises would be enough to clobber us. I could argue that the European financial situation is enough to bring us down. The oil situation is enough to bring us down. The derivative "crises" might be enough to bring us down.
So why aren't we down more? Because we are taking our time going down, that's all. I still believe that we will find ourselves meaningfully lower before we can go higher because there's simply enough bad news out there to make the eternal optimists feel awful, if not silly.
That doesn't mean at a certain point all of the bad news will be "in" stocks. It does mean that at these levels, it most definitely isn't. "
